In fact, you can use smaller portions of the mix for making delicious apple crisp, cake, pie crust, and muffins. Also, if you make smaller loaves than the 19-ounce packages, the loaves are a little “stiffer” and easier to cut into perfect slices. Ground slowly on old-fashioned stone mills, the ingredients in this bread mix are more easily assimilated by the body than most other bread mixes. If you haven’t already, try the oven baking method and you’ll think you’re eating old world bread. You can add in sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds to make it high protein bread.
